We are pleased to announce that North Wiltshire RAYNET has been successful in our application to the Scottish & Southern Electricity Networks Resilient Communities Fund for a grant of £10,000. Richard (2E0XRB) has been leading the funding application efforts over the last few months with extensive input from Andy (G0UWS) Den (M0ACM). The grant will be used to furnish our recently acquired Ifor Williams box trailer. We are now finalising our plans to insulate and furnish the trailer and hope the project will be complete around the new year. We would like to express our gratitude to SSE for making this grant, which will make a significant improvement to our emergency communications capabilities.
